The DISSECTOR is a versatile tyre that can be used front and rear or as a matching pair. It finds a very good balance between rolling resistance and cornering control. To achieve such a result, Maxxis was inspired by the structures of the MINION DHF, Rekon and High Roller.
The 120 TPI carcass is lined with an EXO+ layer on the sidewalls and Butyl inserts starting from the bead wires to prevent punctures and protect rims more. This construction is perfect for trail or light enduro use.
The 3C MAXXTERRA rubber features excellent grip, durability and is light in weight. Equipped with 3 components of different stiffnesses with the hardest rubber as an underlay, medium rubber on the tread and the softest rubber on the side knobs.
The Wide Trail construction optimises the position of the tyre and its efficiency on modern rims (30 to 35mm internal width). This contributes to better grip and roll.
